Weather Bomb: Before, During, and After

It was a wild night as the weather bomb raced over us with strong winds, wet snow (which eventually changed to rain), thundersnow, and a rare tornado warning for the area just East of here. As usual, Mummy was camping out at my house until the weather improves. We lost power from 5pm - 9pm which could have been much worse. The wood stove kept us cozy and my camping lantern and headlamp gave enough light for reading and knitting. Lucci and I took a walk this morning to survey the damage, and there was surprisingly little along our route. The wind persists, and the temperatures will drop again tonight as winter resumes.
