The rumours are true: Daniel has a new grillfriend. She's new and shiny and beautiful.

Last night we had grilled ribeye steaks and Dave Campbell came over for dinner. Then we drank some wine and played guitars and kazoo around the kitchen table until we ran out of Jimmy Buffet tunes.

Tonight Daniel bbqd honey-garlic chicken with perfect grill marks. Tomorrow, the new Weber will probably just be cooking up a barbecued frozen pizza as Daniel will be throwing his sea bag (not me) over his shoulder and heading back to work. And since he will be spending his birthday afloat next week, I made him a chocolate caramel walnut cheesecake for dessert. He actually suggested that I try to bake it in the BBQ.
