At the Hill

Groovy Goose

I'm sitting on the deck at Ski Ben Eoin in the sunshine sipping my hot chocolate with smells of onion rings wafting from the restaurant. I'm taking a break after 2 hours of snowboarding - resting my knees before heading back for at least another hour.

Where are you? Conditions are perfect!

It has been a beautiful morning and not too crowded at the hill. Riding the chairlift alone in the sunshine is like meditation, as is carving down the hills and hearing chickadee birdsong all around.

Here comes the lunch crowd! I must head back up the Ben; the hum of the chairlift is calling.
