Cedar Plank Salmon

Another Fish Tuesday has come and gone; this time Daniel brought home salmon from the Mira Bay Fish Guy in St. Peter's. It was a nice winter evening, and there was half a bottle of sake in the cupboard from once upon a time when Natsuki, our first international student, taught us how to make sushi.

All these elements came together with a maple-mustard-ginger glaze on the grill. The recipe was inspired by chef Bobby Flay. Instead of soaking the cedar plank in boring old water, substitute with sake or your favourite spirits.
