Balmy BBQ

It's now the middle of January and we have no snow. Yesterday there were mosquitoes dancing around on the deck. But this was the last warm evening of this low before the arctic air fills in behind it and temperatures plummet again; a last chance for a balmy bbq.

I'm not sure if I labeled these steaks correctly when they went into the freezer, but once they were thawed I learned how to identify a strip-loin. Better late than never.


Is this the new normal for winter in the northeast? T-shirt weather in January? I have a great idea for a snowman that I want to try, but I'll have to wait. And so will you.
