Kitchen Gadget #7: Pasta Machine

A little elf left a pasta machine under the yule tree for Daniel. It didn't take long for him to open his new toy and try his hand at fettucine. He used Mario Bartoli's recipe for fresh pasta and eggs from our girls who have been steadily laying by the light of their yuletide candle.

The freshly-made pasta, once cooked for a few minutes, hooked up in the pan with some lobster stock, cream, shrimp, scallops (from Tuesday Fish Guy), and I'm guessing shallots and wine, for a wonderful seafood fettucine dinner. Grazie Daniel and yuletide elf.
