French Night

Last Friday night was Supper Gang - a monthly get-together of a group of our friends who like to cook, eat, and laugh. Supper Gang is a themed potluck with costumes, and this time it was French Night at Annick and Giles'. The food was superbe: mussels steamed with wine and shallots; baguette; coq au vin; cheeses of all sorts; crème brûlée; and - believe it or not - several bottles of French wine.

The musicians rocked out well into the night, their red French neckties becoming headbands and bandanas; I ended up sleeping on a boat.
